This session focused on interventions for men by men’s solutions based organisations, allies and bystanders.

The debate was chaired by Susannah Fish OBE QPM MBA , a former Chief Constable of Nottinghamshire Police and included Anthea Sully, Chief Executive of White Ribbon UK, Sophie Gallagher a freelance journalist amongst others publishing for BBC, Financial Times, Grazia, Stylist magazine, Chris Green OBE Co-Founder of Male Allies and Tom Andrews, a trainer of student officers at De Montfort University in Leicester.

It’s the fifth of six ground-breaking discussions that explore the scale and impact of male violence within policing and which draw on a range of internal and external specialists.

The aim of each episode is to explore how policing works in practice so we can better understand why it goes wrong – and how the problems can be remedied.
