As part of his Policing Friendship Tour, PolicingTV and Policing Insight Founder Bernard Rix recently travelled to the Netherlands to meet Sir Rob Wainwright.

 

Previously Europol’s Executive Director, Sir Rob is now a Senior Partner with Deloitte, where he advises on cyber and financial crime.

 

On a beautifully clear though cold December day, Bernard and Sir Rob take a walk around the sand dunes near Strand Wassenaarseslag, on the coast to the west of Leiden, South Holland. There, they discuss Sir Rob’s time at Europol, as well as talking about the continuing challenge of tackling the scourge of cyber and related crime.
