“Single Online Home is a web-based platform that a number of forces around the country are using… It’s a ‘digital front office’, if you like, where members of the public can report incidents and crimes, can seek guidance and advice, and apply for licences…”.
“It streamlines the whole process of us being able to triage, and allocate resource to deal with incidents”.
“Our implementation of that platform, we’re looking to have that fully up and running by the first of November of this year, 2023”.
“The beauty of that platform also is that, where there is something reported by a partner or a member of the public, it can direct them to the right individual to deal with that, so either internally within our police department, or – if it’s an external partner that has priority and responsibility for a particular thing that they’re talking about, it can point them in the right direction. So it helps get them to the right person to deal with their issue”.
