The National Police Chiefs’ Council (NPCC) recently held their Serious Organised Acquisitive Crime (SOAC) Portfolio’s Annual Conference and Exhibition in Leicestershire, England.
PolicingTV captured some of the highlights from the two day event, including the thoughts of some of the many speakers, exhibitors and attendees.
In this second of two videos from the Conference, we hear again from SOAC Portfolio National Lead and North Wales Police Chief Constable, Amanda Blakeman KPM, as well as from a number of the Day Two conference speakers. Launching the Residential Burglary Practice Guide were NPCC Burglary Portfolio Lead and Warwickshire Police Deputy Chief Constable Alex Franklin-Smith, along with NPCC Burglary Portfolio Staff Officer, Humberside Police’s Doug Blackwood.
Also featured on this video are Assistant Chief Constable Tom Harding from the College of Policing; DCI Andrew Smethurst from OPAL, the national serious organised crime team; and Essex Police Detective Superintendent Jon Burgess, Staff Officer to the NPCC Heritage Crime Portfolio.
