Karen Frost: A Royal Canadian Mounted Police Officer’s journey in law enforcement (Part 2)

In this second of three episodes, Karen Frost, a retired police officer from the Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP), shares her experience in law enforcement.

She joined the RCMP in 1980 and underwent six months of paramilitary training before spending 25 years with the RCMP,  15 years in uniform and 10 years in a federal section focused on money laundering and drug investigations.

She also served in Kosovo as a United Nations civilian police officer. After retiring, Karen worked in security on a cruise ship and for the United Nations in Lebanon. She highlights the importance of women in policing and the recognition they receive in the RCMP.
