PwC’s Lou Whiting is a former UK military officer who, latterly in her service career, led on key aspects of military training in the country and overseas. After a period leading and running her own training company, she joined PwC in the Middle East and now leads on policing, security and military training in the region.

Lou explains how the Systems Approach to Training (also known as SAT) lends itself to creating strong, beneficial partnerships between educational institutions and police forces or training units. She also sets out information on how PwC is working at ministerial and force level to support governments and police forces in the improvement of their training approach, including in the use of virtual reality and the metaverse or metaworld.
