Tony Blaker QPM served as a police officer in both Kent Constabulary and Sussex Police, latterly as Kent’s Deputy Chief Constable. On handing in his warrant card as a police officer, he became a member of police staff, initially with the Police Digital Service as the Senior Responsible Owner across several key national technology transformation programmes, including digital forensics, digital case file, rape investigation and video enabled working. More recently, he took on a role as the Chief of Staff to Cumbria Chief Constable, Rob Carden, in his work leading the National Police Chief Council’s Digital, Data and Technology Coordination Committee (DDaT).
