Martin Buhagiar has more than 25 years’ experience as a journalist, editor, head of communications and podcaster, and joined the Policing Insight team in 2022. Previously Martin was Head of Communications for the Police Federation of England & Wales, the country’s largest staff association for rank and file police officers with more than 139,000 members. He is also a former editor of policing website PoliceOracle.com, and former Group Editor of Newsquest’s North London Times and Independent series covering Barnet, Hendon, Edgware, Enfield, Tottenham, Harrow and Borehamwood. Martin is the founder of the Reform Group Media Agency, and podcast host for Tottenham Hotspur Supporters’ Trust.
